Tools of the Trade
CMSI uses the following tools to provide all of the machine metrology services. These tools were selected for their accuracy, dependability, and efficiency.
The API Laser system, for example, reduces measurement time for a typical machining center by at least 80% without sacrificing accuracy. This is compared to using conventional laser systems.

Renishaw Telescoping

Provides
dynamic performance information.
The data is used for baseline information.
Used for interim testing.
Measurement time usually one hour or less.

Electronic Levels
Used for
machine assessment.
Excellent tool for machine alignments and rotary
calibration.
AG
Davis Rotary Calibrator
Used in conjunction with the API Laser and the Federal Electronic
Levels to measure rotary axes.
Cera-Chek
ceramic square
Excellent tool for machine assessment and alignments.
